Stefan Patzl

Stefan Josef Patzl (* 1991 in Tautendorf (municipality of Gars am Kamp) ) is an Austrian antique dealer .

Life

Stefan Patzl is the son of a farmer and distillery operator. He completed a degree in business administration with a focus on tourism. At Sotheby’s in London, Patzl studied Decorative Arts and Design and Foundations of Western Art and returned to Austria a year and a half later with a degree comparable to a Bachelor’s degree.

As a student with Claudia Lehner-Jobst (among other things curator at the Porcelain Museum in Augarten ) and Ursula Rohringer from Dorotheum , Patzl developed into a connoisseur of porcelain from the Viennese porcelain manufactory . He worked temporarily for the Viennese antique dealer Reinhold Hofstätter. In 2016 he became a partner of Michael Schwab, with whom he runs an antique shop in Vienna. Since 2019, Kral has appeared in the "dealer room" of the ServusTV series Bares for Rares Austria .
