Eiichi Katayama ( Japanese 片 山 瑛 一 , Katayama Eiichi ; born November 30, 1991 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Eiichi Katayama learned to play football in the university team of Waseda University . He signed his first contract with Fagiano Okayama in 2014 . The club from Okayama , a port city in Okayama Prefecture on Honshū , the main island of Japan , played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . By the end of 2017 he had played 148 second division appearances for Fagiano. In 2018 he moved to the first division club Cerezo Osaka in Osaka . The first team played in the first division, the J1 League , the U23 team in the third division, the J3 League . So far, he has completed 26 first division games and two third division games. In 2018 he won the Japanese Supercup with Osaka . Here they defeated the champions Kawasaki Frontale 3-2.
