Stefan Prein

Stefan Prein (born October 27, 1965 in Wuppertal ) is a former German motorcycle racer .

In 1985 Prein was German road champion in the 80 cm³ class for Casal . In 1989 he won the title in the eight-liter class of the German championship on a Honda .

Between 1988 and 1995 Prein competed in the motorcycle world championship . His most successful year was 1990 , when he finished third in the 125 cc class on a Honda behind Italian Loris Capirossi and Dutch Hans Spaan . That year he was able to celebrate the only Grand Prix victory of his career at the Grand Prix of Yugoslavia in Rijeka .
