Stefan Rottner

Stefan Rottner (born July 13, 1958 in Nuremberg ) is a German chef .

Career

After training at the Hotel Kleber Post in Saulgau , Rottner cooked from 1978 to 1980 in the Swiss parlors in Wertheim with Jörg Müller and Dieter Müller . In 1980 he went to the Katzenbergers Adler with Rudolf Katzenberger in Rastatt , 1981 to the Hotel Restaurant Guarda-Val in Lenzerheide and 1982 to the Grau Haus in Oestrich-Winkel . In 1985 he graduated from the hotel management school in Heidelberg as a state-certified restaurateur.

Since 1985 he has been head chef at the Romantik Hotel Rottner in Nuremberg, which was awarded a Michelin star in 1998 .

His son Valentin Rottner (* 1988) is now at his side as an equal chef.

Awards
