Stefan Simma

Stefan Simma (born August 17, 1979 in Lingenau ) is an Austrian state politician ( ÖVP ) and was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament in its 28th legislative period .

Simma is a trained master carpenter , married and lives in the Bregenzerwald community of Egg .

Political activity

Through his early activities in the Young People's Party in Bregenzerwald, Simma was able to establish himself in the political landscape of Vorarlberg. In 2005 Simma became a community representative in his home community Egg. On June 6, 2007 he succeeded Walter Lingg, who was withdrawing from state politics, on his state parliament mandate.

In the 28th Vorarlberg state parliament, Simma was the youngest member of the parliament and worked for the ÖVP parliamentary group as area spokesman for water management. He was also a member of the Energy Policy Committee, the Finance Committee, the Agriculture Committee, the Sports Committee and the Environment Committee and a substitute member in four other committees. After the state elections in Vorarlberg in 2009 , Stefan Simma left the state parliament.
