Stefan Stiller (* 1966 in Hildesheim ) is a German chef who has been cooking in Shanghai since 2004 .

Career

After completing his apprenticeship, Stiller went to the Fürstenhof in Celle and to the Golden Plow with Herbert Schönberner in Cologne (three Michelin stars ). In 1988 he moved to the Schweizer Stuben at Dieter Müller (two Michelin stars).

In 1989 he became head chef at the Grand Cru restaurant in the Gasthaus zur Kanne in Deidesheim , which was awarded a Michelin star. In the summer of 2004 he moved to Shanghai with his Korean wife Yoshi, where he was head chef at Club Shanghai .

In August 2008 he set up his own business with Stiller's Restaurant . In April 2016 Stiller opened the Taian Table restaurant on Tai'an Road, which was awarded a Michelin star in September 2016. The second star was awarded in September 2019.
