Stefan Stricker

Stefan Stricker (born January 14, 1963 in Korbach , Hessen ), also known as Juwelia , is a German travesty artist .

Life

In the 1980s, Stricker moved to Berlin and created the fictional character Juwelia Soraya there . In 1991 he was named the most beautiful female man in Berlin by Zeit magazine and graced its cover page. As Juwelia he hoofed it through Kreuzberg pubs and had several more unsuccessful stage shows, works as a painter and played in Hell in all vanity of Lothar Lambert the role of a wicked, unadjusted travesty artist. Stricker has been co-operator of a gallery in Berlin-Neukölln since 2006. His pictures were exhibited in New York.
