Stefan Szolc-Rogoziński (born April 14, 1861 in Kalisch , † December 1, 1896 in Paris ) was a Polish explorer of Africa.

Szolc-Rogoziński made several research trips to the interior of Cameroon . By means of so-called protection treaties , he tried to enlarge the region around today's Limbe , which was claimed by Great Britain, but passed into German ownership in 1887. During his excursions he discovered Lake Balombi-ba-Kotta , which was previously unknown in Europe, and the Elephant Lake . He also discovered, from a European perspective, several waterfalls in the Peteh and Mungo rivers .

He died in a traffic accident in Paris in 1896.
