Stefan Tillmann

Stefan Tillmann (* 1979 in Hilden ) is a German journalist and book author.

Live and act

Stefan Tillmann grew up in Düsseldorf and after completing his banking apprenticeship and master's degree in Augsburg ( political science , communication science and economics ) , he graduated from the German School of Journalism in Munich. He then worked from 2009 to 2011 as a parliamentary correspondent for the Financial Times Deutschland and Capital , before moving to the Berlin city magazine ZITTY , initially part-time and as a copy editor. He also founded the online debating club www.opinion-club.com with Andreas Theyssen. In February 2014 his novel Never Again Football!(Die Werkstatt publishing house), which was nominated as football book of the year .

In 2014 he became - together with Lydia Brakebusch - editor-in-chief of ZITTY, which he converted into a weekly magazine for Berlin in 2015. From 2016 he was - alongside Robert Rischke - the second managing director of the GCM Go City Media GmbH publishing house and also editor-in-chief of ZITTY and tip Berlin.

In January 2018, he moved to Territory Content to Results GmbH, where he heads the Munich office as Editorial Director. Stefan Tillmann is a lecturer at the German School of Journalism and lives with his family in the Munich area.
