Stefan Warbeck

Stefan Warbeck (* 1966 ) was editor-in-chief of the youth radio Fritz , which is produced by the RBB (Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg) for the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg from 2005 to 2011 .

Life

Warbeck studied journalism and political science at the Free University of Berlin . Since the start of broadcasting in 1993, he worked for the program Fritz of the station RBB as a reporter, editor, presenter, program manager and word chief. On August 1, 2005, he succeeded Konrad Kuhnt as Fritz program director.

On November 23, 2011, the RBB announced that Stefan Warbeck had given up program responsibility for the RBB youth program “Fritz” “at his own request” because he no longer saw himself in a position to lead the program appropriately and was no longer responsible for it the "editorial omissions" regarding the program contributions from Ken Jebsen take over. Karen Schmied became his successor .

Prizes and awards

Stefan Warbeck accepted the German Radio Prize 2010 together with Ingo Ewert-Mazander on behalf of the Neues vom Kangaroo team , a comedy show produced by Radio Fritz - RBB .
