News from the kangaroo

News from the Kangaroo was a radio comedy series by the German author and cabaret artist Marc-Uwe Kling . It has been broadcast weekly on the RBB radio program Fritz since the beginning of 2008 . From 2013, all episodes ran in a newly edited version under the name Neues vom Kangaroo RELOADED .

The humorous short stories are about the small artist Kling and his roommate, a kangaroo who, after his time with the Viet Cong, takes communist positions, is a fan of the rock band Nirvana and is addicted to schnapps chocolates.

The Kangaroo Chronicles appeared in 2009 . Views of a cheeky marsupial in print. In 2010, Kling and Fritz's production team were awarded the German Radio Prize in the Best Comedy category for the series .

2011 became The Kangaroo Manifesto. The kangaroo chronicles second part published. The third part of the trilogy, The Kangaroo Revelation , was published on March 10, 2014. On October 12, 2018, a fourth volume was published with The Kangaroo Apocrypha .
