Thomas Hernadi (born August 13, 1963 in Munich ) is a German screenwriter . Thomas Hernadi lives in Munich.

Life

Thomas Hernadi did a banking apprenticeship at the Sparkasse from 1980–1982 . From 1987 he studied in Oxford , Paris and Berlin at the European Business School and graduated in 1990 with the degree EAP, today's ESCP Europe (Dipl. Kfm. - EMM - Diplomé Grande Ecole). From 1988 he gained his first experience in the film business and worked in the film distribution of Cannon Films and as a freelance journalist in Germany and France. In 1990 he worked for Air France , where he worked in route management. Between 1991 and 1995 he gained experience in media management and license trading and worked at international film and TV trade fairs. Thomas Hernadi also worked as a producer for international co-productions from 1992–1994. He has been working as an author since 1992, first in the areas of documentary film and TV magazines, since 1995 as a freelance screenwriter, since 1997 also as an editor and dramaturge in the areas of short film and debut as well as the Teleclub for Bayerischer Rundfunk .

In 1995 he attended the Scriptwriting Master School and completed a distance learning course in philosophy, modern German and European literature from the University of Hagen in 2004. Hernadi has written and published a number of specialist articles on film topics, and he also developed a script for Microsoft Word , which he sells on his website. He also worked as a director in the image, documentary and industrial film sectors. In 2013/14 Thomas Hernadi is a member of the jury and tutor of the Nuremberg Scriptwriting Scholarship.
