Stefanie Kraehmer

Stefanie Kraehmer (formerly Schulze) (born July 21, 1958 in Apolda ) is a German historian and former politician . She is a university lecturer for social policy, economics of social institutions and social services at the University of Neubrandenburg and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives for the party Die Linke from 1999 to 2009 .

Life

Stefanie Kraehmer studied history and sociology at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1978 to 1983, graduating as a historian. There she was awarded a doctorate in 1987 with a thesis on "Basic principles of the university policy of the KPD / SED for the anti-fascist-democratic development of universities and colleges (1945 / 46-1949)". phil. PhD. Until 1995 she worked as a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin.

She is a trained mediator and organizational consultant and completed her Master of Business Administration in the field of health and social management / health care management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law in 2004 .

From 1995 to 2008 she was a lecturer at the University of Potsdam and at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin Berlin.

In 2008 she was appointed professor for social policy / economics of social institutions and social services at the University of Neubrandenburg. In the period from 2009 to 2014, in addition to her professorship at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, she was Vice-Rector and part of the university management of the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences.

Steffi Kraehmer has also been a lecturer in social policy / economics at the BeckAkademie distance learning courses since 2014 and has been a lecturer in organizational development and coaching at the University of Wismar since 2016 .

In 2016, Steffi Kraehmer and Anke Kampmeier founded the Frieda Nadig Institute for Inclusion and Organizational Development .

Steffi Kraehmer (formerly Schulze) is a former MP for the Die Linke party . From 1995 to 1999 she was the department head for youth, family, education and sport for the Lichtenberg district . From 1999 Steffi Kraehmer was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives and was chairman of the committee for integration, labor, vocational training and social affairs and a member of the finance committee (main committee). She resigned her parliamentary seat in 2009.
