Stefanie Mühlsteph

Stefanie Martina Mühlsteph (born 1987 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German writer. She is known as an author of humorous non-fiction and fantastic youth novels.

Life

Mühlsteph attended the Ursuline School of Mary (focus on music) in her native Offenbach. In 2006 she was awarded the 4th prize in the category “best physical work of a girl” in the state competition of Jugend forscht . After graduating from high school, she studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Technical University of Darmstadt . Since 2009 she has worked at the Technical University as a seminar leader and research assistant.

From 2010 she began to publish short stories in anthologies, at the same time Witches Daughter , a fantasy story for children, was published. The Nerdikon followed in 2013 , a lexicon that gave a humorous introduction to the “world of nerds and geeks ”. The following second nonfiction book Technikgirl deals with the subtitle When Girls Love Technology in particular Mühlsteph's experiences as a female participant in Jugend forscht . Since then, Mühlsteph has mainly published in the genres of fantastic youth novels (here is the series N3rdasty ) and romance novels ( memories of us and your song - Ava & Ian under the pseudonym Lou River).

She lives in Darmstadt, where she trains the Darmstadt Dragons softball team for the German College Series . She has been the mother of a daughter since 2015.
