Stefanie "Steffi" Osenberg (born January 14, 1968 in Wuppertal ) is a German handball trainer and former player who used to be active in the Bundesliga .
Career
Osenberg started playing handball in 1977. The then youth national player won the German runner-up championship in 1986 with the A-youth from TV Beyeröhde . She then moved to Bundesliga club VfL Engelskirchen . A season later, she joined league rivals Bayer Leverkusen . After a season in Leverkusen, Osenberg returned to TV Beyeröhde, with whom she was able to celebrate various promotions as a player and as a coach. The last time the B license holder was the coach of the third women's team at the TVB was in the 2011/12 season. From summer 2012 she coached Bayer Leverkusen's second women's team, which competed in the major league. From 2014 she coached the women's team from TuS Wermelskirchen for two seasons . Since the 2014/15 season Osenberg has been working as a selection trainer in the handball district Wuppertal-Niederberg. In November 2016 she became assistant trainer of the Bayer Leverkusen A youth team. She has been with third division HSV Solingen-Gräfrath since October 29, 2018 .
