The HSV Solingen-Gräfrath '76 e. V. is a handball club from Solingen . The first women's team currently plays in the 2nd handball league (women) .

The club focuses on women's handball. In addition to the first team, the second team plays in the Niederrhein Association League.

The youth work in the association is supported by the talent factory (sponsoring association). The talent factory was founded in October 2009 to give the youth department of HSV Solingen-Gräfrath'76 a secure financial basis for their youth work. The strategic direction, with a focus on girls' handball, includes numerous school partnerships.

In the first season, five youth teams took part in the games of the Bergisches Handballkreis. Two years later, in the 2010/11 season, eleven youth teams up to the female B youth were registered. In the 2015/16 season, 19 teams started in the department, which now has around 250 children. There was a particularly large increase in primary school children.

The talent factory has set itself the goal of procuring the necessary funds for youth work as a pure development association.

In the 2017/2018 season, HSV Solingen-Gräfrath will be taking part in matches with 17 youth teams, 3 women's and 2 men's teams. At the end of the 2018/19 season, the first women's team occupied 1st place in the table in the 3rd division and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga.
