Stefano Agostini
Stefano Agostini (born January 3, 1989 ) is a former Italian road cyclist.
Stefano Agostini won one stage each in the junior class at Tre Ciclistica Bresciana in 2006 and 2007. From 2010 he drove for the amateur team GS Zalf Desirée Fior, where he was Italian champion in the road race of the U23 class and won the one-day races Trofeo Città di San Vendemiano and Gran Premio Colli Rovescalesi. In the road race of the world championship he was 15th in the U23 class. In 2011 Agostini was successful in two stages of the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia and in the U23 edition of the Trofeo Matteotti . At the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia, he also came third overall. From 2012 to 2013 he drove for the Italian ProTeam Liquigas-Cannondale .
On September 20, 2013 it was announced that Agostini tested positive for Clostebol in a doping test on August 21, 2013 . His team then fired him. The UCI banned him for 15 months and in April 2014 he announced the end of his career.
