Stefano Bizzarri

Stefano Bizzarri (born March 30, 1990 in Seattle , United States ) is an Italian racing driver .

Career

Bizzarri began his motorsport career in karting , in which he was active from 2003 to 2006. Among other things, he was Italian ICA runner-up in 2006 . In 2007 he switched to the single-seater racing and entered in the Italian Formula Renault at. After missing points in his first season, he moved to RP Motorsport and finished eleventh in the Italian Formula Renault winter championship. In 2008 he stayed with RP Motorsport and did not contest a full season in a series. He contested 8 of 17 races in the Spanish Formula 3 Championship , in which he remained without a point, and 10 of 14 races in the Italian Formula Renault, in which he finished 24th overall. In 2009 he only competed in the European F3 Open , the successor series to the Spanish Formula 3, for RP Motorsport. With one win, he finished third in the championship. However, he did not have a chance of the title, as he was clearly behind the championship leaders.

In 2010 Bizzarri switched to the Auto GP , in which he competed again for RP Motorsport. At the end of the season he finished 24th overall without any points. He also took part in two race weekends of the Italian Formula 3 championship for RP Motorsport . In 2011, Bizzarri switched to GT racing in the International GT Open . He was 16th in the drivers' championship. He also returned to the Auto GP for a race weekend .
