Stefano Caruso (born April 19, 1987 in Rome ) is an Italian figure skater and ice dancer .
He started figure skating at the age of nine and trained ice dance from the start. His first ice dance partner was Isabella Pajardi since 2000. They were Italian junior champions in 2008 and ninth in the 2008 junior world championships. The duo separated in 2010.
Stefano Caruso then ran with Tanja Kolbe since 2010 . The couple started for Germany . You became German runner-up in ice dance in 2012. After the very successful debut at the European Championships in 2012, the couple separated.
In 2012 he found a new ice dance partner in Juliane Haslinger from Chemnitz. However, this partnership was abandoned in July 2012 because the ice dance couple Kolbe / Caruso had reunited: The two started at other European championships ( 2013 / 8th place, 2014 / 11th place), a world championship ( 2014 / 21st place) and the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi (19th place) until they separated again in 2014.
