Tanja Kolbe (born September 7, 1990 in Berlin , Germany ) is a German figure skater who starts in ice dancing .

biography

Beginning in 2003, Kolbe ran together with Paul Boll , where they started for the Berlin TSC . The two were trained by Hendryk Schamberger , who himself had been multiple German ice dancing champion in his past. In the 2004/05 season they also worked with the coach Anselika Krylowa - the Russian ice dance world champion in 1998 and 1999 - and Pasquale Camerlengo , the former Italian national champion in ice dancing. Camerlengo was also one of their choreographers .

In 2006 Tanja Kolbe changed partners and started with Sascha Rabe , the coaching staff remained the same.

After Sascha Rabe's career ended in 2010, Kolbe trained with the Italian Stefano Caruso . After the very successful international debut at the European Championships in 2012 , where they started for Germany and reached 12th place, the couple surprisingly separated. In July, however, they got together again and started at other European championships ( 2013 / 8th place, 2014 / 11th place), a world championship ( 2014 / 21st place) and the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi (19th place) until they parted again in 2014.

Tanja Kolbe studies economics in her hometown Berlin.
