Stefano Gabrini

Stefano Gabrini (born January 4, 1959 in Rome ) is an Italian filmmaker.

Life

Gabrini has been working in the film world since 1983; he shot short films , video clips , documentaries and participated in several television projects such as La notte della Repubblica and Viaggio intorno all'uomo . He also worked as a unit manager in the theater. After an episode as a film critic for "Reporter", he played the lead role in Beppe Cinos film La casa del buon ritorno and acted as an assistant director . After his own screenplay, which won a prize in the “Scrivere il Cinema” competition, he directed Il gioco delle ombre in 1990 , in which he also played. His documentary The Secret Music of the Plants won awards in England two years earlier. Another feature film was not released until 2001, the award-winning Jurij ; Work for television and other short films followed.
