Steffen Fritz

Steffen Fritz (* 1981 in Stuttgart ) is a German computer scientist and activist in the field of electronic archiving and information security .

Life

Fritz studied computational linguistics at the University of Stuttgart and published several articles in specialist journals and in the hacker magazine 2600 . In 2015, together with the author Norman Ohler , he restored the first cyberpunk hypertext novel in the German language, "The Quota Machine" from 1995.

Fritz has a teaching position at the State Academy for Fine Arts in Stuttgart in the course of study on the conservation of new media and digital information. He also develops open source software in the field of long-term archiving and IT security.
