Steffen Gründel

Steffen Viktor Gründel (born June 16, 1955 in Dresden ) is a retired German police officer. D. He works both as a speaker in the field of crime prevention for senior citizens and as a behavioral trainer in children's facilities and schools. Since 2006 he has been involved in the production of prevention materials on the subject of “Don't go with strangers! Do not accept anything from strangers! ”. He is the developer of a specially produced prevention set as well as several learning modules. The use and application of these materials can be used independently by educators in children's facilities and primary schools.

Life

Gründel graduated from the Thuringian University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in the police department and graduated with a degree in administrative management (FH). Until the end of 2015, he worked as a police officer in the senior service of the state police of the Free State of Thuringia.

Volunteering

The projects “Policat advises: Not just chocolate!” And “Nina and the stranger” are voluntarily accompanied by him on request in children's facilities and schools. For the Policat project, Steffen Gründel was elected “Thuringian of the Month February” and “Thuringian of the Year” in 2012 by the Thuringian Ehrenamtsstiftung, MDR 1 RADIO THÜRINGEN and the THÜRINGEN JOURNAL of the MDR, and in 2016 received the Medal of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .

Since the end of his service, he has been with the Weißen Ring e. V. works as an employee of the Altenburger Land branch and as a prevention officer of the Thuringia regional association of the White Ring.
