Steffen Kienle (born January 18, 1995 ) is a German soccer player .
Career
In his youth, Steffen Kienle played for SV Elchingen, TSV Nördlingen and SSV Ulm 1846 . In 2012 he moved to the youth team of the then second division club VfR Aalen . In 2014 he moved up to the club's second team, which competed in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . In the following season, Kienle prevailed as a regular player, scoring 13 goals in 34 games. After the season, however, VfR Aalen dissolved its second team in the summer of 2015 after the first team had been relegated from the 2nd to the 3rd division . Kienle then received a professional contract for a year. He made his debut as a professional footballer on the first day of the new season when he came on for Alexandros Kartalis in the 73rd minute of the game against Chemnitzer FC . In parallel to professional football, Kienle completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, which is why he was unable to take part in all of the team's training units. Nevertheless, he continued to regularly play in third division games in the further course of the season, mostly after substitutions in the final phases of the games, his first professional goal he succeeded in October 2015 to the 2-2 final against the Würzburger Kickers . Then Kienle returned to SSV Ulm in 1846 in the Regionalliga Südwest . He signed a contract with the Sparrows until June 30, 2019.
