Steffen Maus

Steffen Maus (* 1968 ) is a German author and journalist who specializes in wine .

Life

Mouse grew up in Bad Kreuznach . He completed his chemistry studies with a diploma at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, where he received his doctorate in February 1997. In 1998 he went to Great Britain for a year to do an apprenticeship in the marketing agency of the German Wine Institute in London. This was followed by a one-year traineeship in Tuscany at the wine magazine Merum .

Since 2000 he has worked for specialist magazines as an Italy specialist. Steffen Maus gives seminars on wine, including at the Geisenheim research institute . In addition to Italy, he focuses on Germany and South Africa. He has published several books on wine, resp. worked on it, including “Italy's Wine Worlds” in March 2011. Maus lives near Frankfurt am Main .
