The Steinerne Weg was a trade and traffic route in the Lower Austrian Waldviertel .

Starting in Weitenegg , the Steinerne Weg led through the Weitental via Pöggstall and Martinsberg to Rappottenstein , where it joined the Griessteig . Further north it ended in the Polansteig . The Steinerne Weg found a continuation in the Beheimsteig , which ran from Zwettl to the north.
