It is located northwest of the historic Quedlinburg old town on the north side of Steinholzstrasse and is listed as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Steinholzstrasse 5 to the west. Steinholzstrasse 4 is also part of the Steinholzstrasse monument area .
Architecture and history
The three-story massive building was built in 1907/08. The building following the bend in the street is dominated by a large round bay window . Above the bay window that accentuates the corner of the house is a gable . The plastered facade is cautiously decorated in Art Nouveau forms .
