The Bocan Stone Circle (also called the Glackadrumman Stone Circle) is located near the border of the Bocan and Glackadrumman Townlands on the Inishowen Peninsula 1.5 km from Culdaff in County Donegal , Ireland .

Today only seven standing menhirs of this megalithic complex can be seen on the hill. They are in two groups so that a ring with a diameter of over 20 m, possibly consisting of 25 to 29 stones, can be reconstructed. Some calculations assume 30 stones, but studies have shown that the stone circles in this region almost always consisted of an odd number of stones, based on a minimum number of five. In 1816 12 stones are said to have stood. Remains of cremation graves and ceramics are said to have been discovered in the center in 1816.

In 1928 Boyle Somerville investigated the question of the orientation of the stone circle. The starting point for his measurement was a 1.5 m high stone in the southeast, marked with small bowls . The artificial arrangement of these bowls (also caused by weathering) could not be clearly proven because of the strong weathering. A connecting line from this large stone to a 1.9 m high menhir opposite points in its extension to a point on Farragan Hill about 7 km away, which marks the sunset during the summer solstice .

The circle was created during the Irish Bronze Age between 3000 and 1500 BC. The area is littered with other remnants of prehistoric times. The Temple of Deen is close by, and Cloncha Monastery and Carrowmore Settlement are in direct line of sight to the southwest.
