Stone cross at the Engelthal sports field
The stone cross near Engelthal is a modern replica of a historical stone cross near Engelthal in the Middle Franconian district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria .

The cross is located about 1.5 kilometers west of Engelthal and is a bit hidden near the sports field on a hedge south of the LAU 7 district road.
description
In the small monument, which is made of castle sandstone and measures approximately 145 x 75 x 25 cm, a dagger is carved into the intersection . This is a modern replica with traces of processing that shows hardly any signs of weathering. The stone cross, originally from the 17th century, was badly damaged. It was replaced during road construction in 1975/1976 and therefore deleted as a historical building by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation (D-5-74-120-16).
