The Steinschaler Dörfl is a village in the Rotte Taschlgrabenrotte in Frankenfels in the Türnitz Alps , Lower Austria .

history

The location on the southern slope of the Waitzgraben was first mentioned in 1449 and has been used for agriculture since the Middle Ages. The owner of the Weisleichsgraben or Weislatzgraben was Lenncz zu Weislatzgraben in 1449 . In 1805 the property owned around 18.5 yokes .

This location was later combined with the houses of the Taschlgraben to the Taschlgrabenrotte. Within the Taschlgrabenrotte, however, the location in the Waitzgraben grew strongly, especially after 1990, so that the name Steinschaler Dörfl was established for this part of the Taschlgrabenrotte.

Todays use

Today the Steinschaler Dörfl is a nature hotel. It consists of the approx. 400 year old farm, which has been largely preserved, and several new buildings that contain the hotel's infrastructure, seminar rooms and rooms. The buildings were erected as a building ensemble with a village character around the village square.
