Steliano Filip (born May 15, 1994 in Buzău ) is a Romanian football player . The midfielder has been under contract with Hajduk Split since January 2018 .

Career

society

Filip started playing football at Banatul Timișoara at the age of seven. In summer 2011, at the age of 17, he moved to FCMU Baia Mare in Liga II . In the summer of 2012, first division club Dinamo Bucharest signed him , where he was initially used not only in the first but also in the second team. In the 2013/14 season he became a regular midfield player at Dinamo in Liga 1 .

National team

In early March 2014, national coach Victor Pițurcă Filip called for a friendly against Argentina , but did not use him.

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Romanian squad . His only appearance was in the second game against Switzerland, when he was substituted on when the score was 1-1 in the last third. The draw earned the team the only point and it was eliminated after the group stage.
