Stella Getz (* 1976 in Trondheim , Norway ) is a former singer who joined Friends and Dr. Love had two hits in the German charts .
biography
Stella Getz is the daughter of a Norwegian and a Nigerian . At the age of 16 she won a talent competition in Oslo . A year later she signed her first recording deal . The debut single Friends , which premiered on the Norwegian TV show Casino , made it to number 5 in 1993 at home and in 1994 to number 32 in Germany. At home, Getz, who was engaged to Espen Lind , was considered to be the biggest pop export to a-ha . However, this hope was dashed. The successor single Dr. Love reached number 30 in the German single charts in the same year. By 1996 Norway's "First Lady of Dance" released four more singles, but they went unnoticed.
After the end of her music career, Getz began studying journalism , which she completed in 2007 with a BA .
