Stellar Kart is a Christian pop-punk band from Phoenix , Arizona, USA .
history
The first album All Gas. No brake. was released on Word Records in February 2005. Some singles, e.g. B. Finish Last or Life is good were played on the Christian radio station Air 1. Her second album We can't stand sitting down was released on July 25, 2006. The first single, Me and Jesus , topped the Hot Christian Songs Charts for seven weeks and won the 2007 Dove Award .
On March 9, 2010, her album Everything Is Different Now was released. The single "Something Holy" was released the same day and charted number 23 for three weeks. Lead singer Adam Agee stated that the material was more adorable than it focused on relationship issues. “We were performing at a camp the summer before we were admitted and we really realized we loved doing the youth service again,” he said. "So we tried to find some of our favorite songs and wrote some new songs that ended up being 'Everything is Different Now'."
Stellar Kart released an EP on August 16, 2011 called "A Whole New World" . The EP contains four songs from Disney films, including " Ariel the Mermaid " , " The Lion King " , " Beauty and the Beast " and " Aladdin ".
Their final album " All In" was released on August 27, 2013. The single "Ones and Zeros" was used in the soundtrack of God is not dead .
The band name comes from the youth work in which they were active in the past and is often abbreviated with "SK".
