Stephan Hinz (entrepreneur)

Stephan Hinz (born July 3, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German barkeeper , restaurateur and catering entrepreneur.

Life

Stephan Hinz worked as a bartender for Hilton Hotels , the Hotel Bayerischer Hof and Harry's New York Bar, among others . In 2010 he won the mix competition of the German Barkeeper Union and was named "German Cocktail Master". In autumn, a jury from Mixology magazine named him "Mixologist of the Year". In the same year, Hinz founded his company Cocktailkunst in order to transfer "the developments of modern star cuisine into the bar". Projects with chefs like Matthias Schmidt or Tim Raue came about through Kofler & Bäumen . With his two companies Cocktailkunst and Hinzself , Stephan Hinz offers international training and catering as well as consulting services for the catering and beverage industry.

In 2014 Hinz published the specialist book Cocktail Art - The Future of the Bar and opened his first own bar in Cologne, the Little Link . The specialist magazine fizzz described him as a restaurateur, "who, as a guarantor for spectacular drink productions, always pushes the apparent limits of feasibility a little further".
