Klaus Peter Kofler

Klaus Peter Kofler (born August 5, 1964 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe ) is a German entrepreneur in the catering sector and founder and CEO of Kofler & Co. GmbH and Kofler Group AG.

Life

In 1823, Kofler's ancestors founded the Kofler town bakery in Bad Homburg, Hesse, and later supplied the court of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The family business is now in the sixth generation.

Kofler initially trained as a pastry chef and from 1988 studied business administration at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . In 1991 he founded his catering company. Kofler caters for large events in the sports, media, lifestyle and industrial sectors as well as for commercial companies. His company is also active in the private customer sector. Kofler & Bäumen manages the event space of the Zeughaus in the German Historical Museum in Berlin , the café in the Zeughaus, the café in the Bode Museum and in Le Populaire Unter den Linden. Kofler also launched the Pret A Diner pop-up dining experience.

Kofler & Co. GmbH is represented in Berlin , Düsseldorf , Frankfurt , Munich and Hamburg . The global hospitality solutions provider Kofler Group operates on three continents in seven countries and has locations in Brazil, China, Germany, Japan, Portugal, UK and Switzerland.
