Stephan Scheuer is a German journalist and non-fiction author .

Career

As a scholarship holder of the Hans Böckler Foundation , Scheuer studied international relations and sinology as a minor in Berlin, London and Beijing . In parallel to his studies, he completed a three-year training course at the Catholic journalism school ifp in Munich. Scheuer spent two years as a trainee at the German Press Agency in Frankfurt / Main and Berlin. From 2013 worked for the German Press Agency as a foreign correspondent in Beijing and from mid-2015 for the Handelsblatt . He has been editor of the Handelsblatt since 2017. His topics are the telecommunications industry and IT industry as well as Chinese companies in Germany and Europe.
