Stephanie Blackstone (born January 22, 1985 ) is an American summer biathlete .

Stephanie Blackstone lives in Everett and competes for the Pennsylvania Biathlon Club . She began biathlon in 2003, which she practiced alongside cross-country running and athletics. A student at Kent State University , which she graduated as a photojournalist in 2008, she was one of the US undergraduate picks in both sports. After completing her studies, she devoted herself entirely to biathlon and was unbeaten nationally for a long period of time. In 2008 she won the mass start title in her very first national championship race and, starting from last place, since she had not participated in the sprint, was third in the pursuit race. In 2009 she won all three possible titles with mass start, sprint and pursuit. The national championships were also the qualifying races for international assignments. Here she appeared in Haute-Maurienne at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 for the first time at a World Cup and was there 12th in sprint and pursuit. The following year she also took part in the cross-country biathlon competitions of the World Cup in Oberhof . Blackstone finished 21st in both the sprint and the pursuit. She works as a freelance photographer.
