Career

Ullrich started her career at FV Kickers Trebus. Initially, she was used in midfield and in attack . At the age of 13, she became a goalkeeper by chance. The goalkeeper injured herself in a game. Ullrich took over the post reluctantly, but stuck with it. She came to the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam via Union Fürstenwalde . There she was always in the shadow of Nadine Angerer , so that in 2006 she moved to newly promoted VfL Wolfsburg . In Wolfsburg she became a regular player. In January 2007 she was invited to the senior national team for the first time and drove to the four-nation tournament in Guangzhou ( People's Republic of China ). Since the regular goalkeeper Silke Rottenberg injured herself in training, Ullrich came to her first international match against China . Another followed against England. A month later she drove with the national team to the Algarve Cup , where she played international matches against Norway and Italy.

For the 2007/08 season, Ullrich moved to 1. FFC Frankfurt . Her contract there ran until summer 2011.
