Stephen Hill (singer)

Stephen Hill (* 2. October 1956 in Kirksville (Missouri) , † 5 August 2012 in Lumberton , North Carolina ) was a US -American singer and songwriter of Christian pop music , the Southern Gospel .

Life

Stephen Hill grew up in Greenville, South Carolina . He initially worked as a background singer, including for Sam Moore , Dolly Parton , Nancy Sinatra and Hank Williams, Jr. He regularly appeared in concerts for Bill Gaither's homecoming series . Recordings appeared on the CDs and DVDs published for this purpose. Stephen Hill, who also worked as a music teacher, died of complications from a heart attack at the age of 55 while on a concert tour. He was married for 34 years, leaving behind a wife and three children.
