Steponas Jaugelis-Telega
Steponas Jaugelis-Telega (* around 1600 in Kėdainiai , † 1668 in Lithuania ) was a Lithuanian cultural worker and mayor of Kėdainiai.
Life
Telega was engaged in trade and owned a few small estates. From 1628 to 1642 he was treasurer of the Kėdainiai Synod of the Evangelical Reformed Church, from 1631 to 1666 mayor of Kėdainiai, from 1648 rector of the Kėdainiai grammar school . From 1648 he also studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg .
