The Szczecin Landscape Park ( Szczeciński Landscape Park "Puszcza Bukowa" ) is located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship between Zdroje ( Finkenwalde ) and Stare Czarnowo ( Neumark ). The Buchheide has a rich geological structure and consists of a moraine wall . The highest point is the Bukowiec mountain at 148 m. In the park there are ponds, lakes and numerous small ponds and forest bogs, as well as many boulders. The tree population is dominated by the common beech .

The protected area was established in 1981, covers an area of ​​approx. 9,096 ha and has an additional buffer zone of 11,842 ha. There are six nature reserves in the park . The seat of the administration is in Gryfino ( Greifenhagen ).
