Work and way of working

Steve Bandoma uses found objects in his work, certain images from fashion magazines and sometimes also processes the leftovers in order to breathe new life into everything. In this way he translates the abundance inherent in these objects, images and materials into the creation of works of art, whose raison d'etre is thereby at the same time called into question. The result is a visually dynamic reincarnation of a sometimes meaningless contemporary world of images and objects of excessive desire and prosperity.

He says of his way of working: "My work deals with questions of humanity , violence , global warming , politics , religion , fashion and race in a provocative and humorous way. Questioned with installations , performances , photography and excerpts from glossy magazines I globalization and essentiality with a precise aesthetic . "
