Steve Lynch

Steve Lynch (* 1955 in Seattle ) is an American rock and studio guitarist and guitar lecturer at GIT, the guitar department of the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles .

Steve Lynch was best known for his work with the hard rock band Autograph , which had a top 50 hit in 1984 with the song Turn Up The Radio . The corresponding album received platinum status a little later .

Steve Lynch started playing bass at the age of twelve before switching to guitar shortly afterwards. His main musical influences are rock guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen . Steve Lynch is known to have developed the playing technique of one-finger tapping together with the well-known guitarist Jennifer Batten ( Michael Jackson Band et al.), What is now called multi-finger tapping by guitarists.

He is considered a guitar virtuoso and musicians musician due to his conspicuous, technically very developed style of playing.

Steve Lynch was an endorser for the Californian guitar manufacturer Jackson and received numerous awards (including Guitarplayer trade magazine) for his guitar playing.
