Steve Scutt

Steve Scutt (born March 18, 1956 ) is a former British sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

At the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane in 1982 , he reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and won gold in the 4 x 400 meter relay with the English team .

1979 and 1981 he was British champion. He set his personal best of 45.97 s on September 14, 1979 in London .

In 2009 he was sentenced to 30 months in prison for fraud for embezzling the money entrusted to him by investors for developing and marketing an energy drink .
