The Stevenson Glacier is a glacier on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It flows in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Amery Ice Shelf in the form of the Peterson Icefalls .
The American cartographer John Hobbie Roscoe (1919–2007) mapped it in 1952 using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1956 after James C. Stevenson, co-pilot on the flights used to create these aerial photographs.
