The Stockheim Group is a German catering and exhibition catering company . It belongs to the area of system catering . Their tasks include the management and supply of airports, train stations, trade fairs and halls, for example in the field of sports. Since May 2017, the group of companies has been in insolvency proceedings after significant sales losses due to lost orders at Düsseldorf Airport and the Hamburg Congress Center . As part of the insolvency proceedings, Stockheim separated from 25 high-frequency branches at the end of 2017, which are located at the airports and main train stations in Düsseldorf, Cologne-Bonn and Münster-Osnabrück. These were taken over by the SSP . Furthermore, Stockheim parted with the catering of the congress center and the trade fair catering in Hamburg. These were taken over by the Käfer group .

Stockheim was founded as a private company in 1948 by Heinz Stockheim. At that time there were 35 employees. In 1989 his son Karl-Heinz Stockheim took over the company.

Over time, the private company had expanded to become the Stockheim Group. The group of companies was divided into six business areas. Each field was organizationally independent or legally independent. The coordination was carried out by a management group whose chairman is Karl-Heinz Stockheim. After the insolvency proceedings were concluded (April 13, 2018), the group shrank to the Düsseldorf location, where it still operates part of the trade fair catering and gastronomy in the Rheinterrasse. The number of employees fell from over 750 to 120 in the course of the insolvency proceedings.
