The Stoewer gripping Junior - named for the city arms the place of manufacture Szczecin - is a passenger car of the middle class , which the automobile company Stoewer 1935 as successor of the type R 180 brought out. The bankruptcy of Neue Röhr AG in Ober-Ramstadt made it possible to take over the license and tools for the Tatra 30 from there. Like Neue Röhr AG before, this saved the costs and risk of developing your own new product.

Initially, the Röhr Junior continued to be built unchanged. In the spring of 1936 the model received a completely new, more elegant body of its own design after production of around 900 copies.

The front wheels were attached to an axleless construction with two transverse leaf springs. The rear wheels were attached to a pendulum swing axle with a transverse leaf spring. The vehicle had an air-cooled four-cylinder OHV - boxer engine front incorporated which drive the rear wheels through a four-speed transmission.

Exactly 4000 copies of the Greif Junior had been built by 1939.
