Stoyan Mikhailovsky

Stojan Nikolow Michailowski , Bulgarian Стоян Николов Михайловски , (born January 7, 1856 in Elena , † August 3, 1927 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian poet and satirist.

Life

Michailowski studied law in France and worked as a teacher, lawyer, civil servant and university lecturer. He is also politically active and, together with General Ivan Zontschew, succeeded Boris Sarafov in 1901 and became the leader of the Macedono-Odrin Supreme Committee .

Mikhailovsky wrote fables , satirical poems, poems and sonnets .

Since 2013 he has given its name to Mihaylovski Crag , a hill in Graham Land in Antarctica.
