The Stolica ( 1476 m nm ) is the highest mountain in the Slovak Ore Mountains (Slovenské rudohorie) . It is located in the north-central part of the mountain range. The Stolica Mountains ( Stolické vrchy ), a sub-unit of the Slovak Ore Mountains, are named after her.
The Stolica lies between the municipalities of Telgárt , Rejdová , Čierna Lehota , Muránska Zdychava and Muránska Huta .
The mountain is densely forested. Only the northeast slope, which is covered by pastureland, allows a view.
