Stor-Björkvattnet is a lake in the municipality of Storuman in Västerbotten County in the Swedish historical province of Lapland . It is located at an altitude of 392.1 m above sea level. and is 25.4 km² and has a maximum depth of 65.5 meters. The lake, which is fed by the river Gejmån from the Abelvattnet to the west, is the highest in a chain of lakes formed by the lakes Lill-Björkvatnet , Gardiken , Umnässjön and Storuman . The distance to the sea is 364 km.
The lake is around 12 long and up to 4 km wide and lies east of the Södra Storfjället mountain . It extends from its top in the northwest to its outflow in the southeast. It is accompanied on its northeast bank by a side road that branches off from Europaväg 12 in Västansjö to the south and reaches the E 12 again in Ajaureforsen.
